Where Am I?

I remember a reading I got many years ago by Soul Level Astrologer Mark Borax. I was really struggling with the direction my life was going to take (much like many of us are again now ;). Mark told me I was at a point in my life like the scene in the movie "African Queen" starring Kathryn Hepburn and Humphrey Bogart. They had to face so many challenges along the way, mosquitos, leeches, rapids and gun fire to name a few. Just when they thought
they had made it through, there boat got stuck in the marsh grasses. Humphrey Bogart got out of the boat and tried to pull it but they just couldn't go any farther. Both of them were so exhausted that they lay down on the deck and fell asleep. As they slept the rain began, slowly at first and then more and more. The camera panned back and you could see the water beginning to rise and over the horizon you could now see the ocean. They had reached their destination!

What if this is true for us now? Just as we feel we can't go on any further, there, over the horizon, is what we've been looking for! And really, it's been there all along! We just couldn't see it! It's like all the emails I've gotten recently about the animals. They have opened their hearts in love to us. But really, their hearts have been open all along. It is our hearts that have been closed and now we are seeing, through the animals, our hearts, finally, opening!
